localStorage (persists until cleared)
localStorage stores data in your browser indefinitely until you clear it. It is never sent to our servers.

sessionStorage (cleared when you close the tab)
sessionStorage stores data only for the duration of your current browser tab. It is automatically deleted when you close the tab and is never sent to our servers.

How can I control cookies?
